I’m Shahid Sarfaraz, a self-taught Full Stack Web Developer with over a decade of hands-on experience building everything from e-commerce stores to automation tools and full-scale web applications.
My journey began in 2015 on Freelancer.com, where I started with a small birthday website project for a local client. Step by step, I took on more complex work, integrating Tableau, building Vue.js components, and eventually developing full-fledged web apps. Over my five-year freelance career, I delivered tailored solutions to a wide range of clients and built a solid foundation in both frontend and backend development.
Curious to see how things worked in a professional environment, I transitioned into the corporate world. My first role was at Inertia Soft, where my skills were quickly recognized, and I even had the opportunity to train a team of developers. Later, I joined Teknoflair, a company known for its expertise in custom WordPress plugins and theme development, where I spent two years building and customizing numerous plugins.
My path then led me to a private company, where I focused on WordPress theme development while also creating Python automations, such as web scrapers and PSEO tools that gathered data from various sources and automatically populated WordPress and other platforms. Eventually, I expanded into Shopify theme development, leveraging experience from my freelancing days to build and customize powerful e-commerce solutions.
After several years in full-time roles, I decided to return to freelancing, now with a wealth of real-world experience, a stronger technical vision, and a refined approach to problem-solving. Although I’ve lost my old accounts and am making a fresh start, I’m more motivated than ever to apply my knowledge, build long-term client relationships, and deliver creative, reliable, and scalable solutions that help businesses achieve their goals.
